Sessionsaver in Firefox 2.0
December 25th, 2006
Hi guys, there is a famous plugin called “Sessionsaver” that lets you to save the current tabs open in firefox, so that, when you open firefox next time, all the previously tabs are preserved. I discovered a patch for Sessionsaver for firefox 2.0. Get it from http://wolcano.platon.sk/sessionsaver/.
By the way, I’m still bewildered as to why this basic feature is not implemented in firefox yet.

I guess it is already there in FireFox 2.0.

@barbi:
Security concern? I’m unable to understand that. Because of XUL, firefox has one of the most flexible UIs.

The real Session Saver works way better than the copycat version included with Firefox 2.xx.
I haven’t tried this new patch yet but for those who haven’t tried Session Saver I will say that SESSION SAVER IS THE BEST ADDON/EXTENSION I HAVE EVER USED FOR FIREFOX. No ifs, ands, or buts – simply the BEST.
